Behind every roof is a story — and ours started in 2000 in Dezhou, Shandong Province, the industrial heart of northern China. Over two decades, Fuda Roofing has grown from a small workshop into one of China's most trusted manufacturers of stone coated metal roof tiles. Here's how we got here — and what drives us forward.

Founded with a Simple Mission

Fuda Roofing was established with one goal: make premium roofing accessible. In the early 2000s, stone coated metal tiles were a niche product dominated by a handful of Western and East Asian brands at premium prices. Our founders saw an opportunity to manufacture the same quality at a price working families and mid-market developers could afford.

Starting with a single production line and a team of 15, we focused relentlessly on two things: material quality and manufacturing precision. Word spread. By 2008, we were shipping our first export containers to Africa and Southeast Asia.

The Factory: Where Quality Happens

Today, our 33,000m² factory in Dezhou runs 20+ automated production lines, producing over 6 million square meters of stone coated metal roof tiles every year. Each line handles a specific step — galvalume steel pressing, stone chip application, oven curing, quality inspection, and packaging — with minimal manual handling to maintain consistency.

We don't outsource. Raw steel coils arrive at one end of the facility, and finished, pallet-wrapped tiles leave the other — all under one roof. This vertical integration means we control quality at every step and pass the cost savings directly to our customers.

Our first export container shipped in 2008. Since then, we've built lasting relationships with distributors, developers, and contractors in 20+ countries — Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Philippines, Bangladesh, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and many more. Many of our earliest customers still order from us today — that's the kind of partnership we believe in.

What makes those relationships last? Consistency. The tiles a customer ordered in 2015 match perfectly with the tiles they order today. We maintain archived color and profile samples for every major customer, so reorders and project expansions never have mismatched roofing.

Eco-Friendly by Design

We take environmental responsibility seriously. Stone coated steel production uses less energy than clay tile kilns. Our stone chips are natural and inert. At end-of-life — 50+ years later — the steel base is 100% recyclable. No landfill waste, no toxic decomposition. We've invested in energy-efficient curing ovens and water recycling systems across our facility to minimize our footprint.

Looking Ahead

Twenty-plus years in, we're just getting started. We're expanding our color range, developing new tile profiles for modern architectural styles, and investing in faster logistics to reduce lead times for our international partners.
