Stone coated metal roof tiles are remarkably space-efficient because of their light weight and stackable design. Here's what you get per container:

A single 20ft container covers 2,200 m² of roof — enough for roughly 10-15 average homes. Because stone coated steel tiles weigh only 6-7 kg/m², you maximize coverage per container compared to clay tiles (which might only fit 800-1,200 m² per 20ft due to weight limits).
Every Fuda shipment uses a three-layer packaging system designed for ocean freight:
Layer 1 — Individual tile protection: Each tile is separated by a thin foam interleaf pad to prevent stone-coating abrasion during vibration. Without this, rough seas can cause tiles to rub against each other and wear down the stone finish.
Layer 2 — Bundle wrapping: Tiles are stacked in bundles of 10-20 pieces, wrapped in waterproof plastic film, then secured with PET strapping. Each bundle is labeled with the tile profile, color code, and quantity — making inventory at the destination simple.
Layer 3 — Pallet & container securing: Bundles are stacked on fumigated ISPM-15 wooden pallets. Inside the container, pallets are braced with air bags and lashing straps to prevent shifting. We photograph every loaded container before sealing — you'll receive these photos with your shipping documents.
